A fixed menu on the bottom gives you quick access to the home screen, climate controls and car settings.

It'll also serve shortcuts to the most-used functions like drive modes, the 360° camera, recent apps and Google Assistant. The display will only prompt relevant actions, whether you're parked, driving or on call.

Get driving information exactly how you want it on the 12.3-inch driver display. Choose from two views to suit your driving style. Calm shows speed and basic navigation prompts. Navi adds a detailed map.

Opt for the head-up display to keep your eyes on the road even more of the time. It projects essential information like speed, speed limits and navigation prompts directly onto the windscreen so they appear to hover over the bonnet. There’s less need to look down or shift your gaze.

The display stays crisp and clear whether you're driving through a tunnel or after dark. You can also adjust the brightness and position to suit your preferences.

Use the centre display to select one of five drive modes. You can toggle between them without returning to settings.

Hybrid
Prioritises electric power. It only activates the petrol engine to maximise efficiency on longer trips. 


Pure
Enables quieter electric driving without engaging the petrol engine at all.

Power
Combines both engines, delivering sporty performance and continuous all-wheel drive.

Off-road

Digital services
Use Google Maps, Google Assistant and any app downloaded on Google Play Store with unlimited data for five years. This digital services subscription is included with the purchase of a new Volvo car. After this period, new terms and fees will apply if you choose to renew. Fair Use Policy for data applies. Connectivity is subject to network coverage.

Get software updates sent directly to your car via the cloud. These over-the-air (OTA) updates roll out periodically, improving your car over time with no shop visits required. OTA updates also make it easy to upgrade and add software-based features and packages at any time.

Our standard four-zone climate system allows front-row passengers to set individual temperatures on the centre display, and second-row side passengers to set their temperatures from a touch panel at the back of the centre console. Floor air outlets and adjustable air vents in the door pillars help keep rear passengers comfortable.

Bring the cabin to a comfortable temperature and run an air purification cycle before you get in using the Volvo Cars app.

The air quality system continuously filters and monitors incoming air and automatically shuts the cabin's intakes if harmful substances like ozone or exhaust gases are detected.

The standard air purifier designed to remove up to 95 per cent of PM2.5 particles, which can affect your respiratory health. It also eliminates up to 97 per cent of airborne viruses and 99.9 per cent of pollen.



Check cabin air quality on the centre display and use it to run an air purification cycle. You can also refresh the cabin remotely using the Volvo Cars app.

Child seats can be installed in the second-row outer seats with ISOFIX anchorages in the outer positions.

Integrated child seat
When your little ones outgrow their rear-facing child seats, they can transition to the built-in booster cushion in the centre of the second row, which supports a proper seatbelt fit and comfortable seating.

Mechanical or power child lock
The power child lock lets you control the rear doors and windows directly from the driver's seat.

Child safety recommendations
Our approach to child safety includes rigorous testing based on real-life traffic situations. That's why we strongly recommend keeping kids in rear-facing child seats until they’re at least four years old.

Enhanced sound insulation and strategically placed acoustic foam help block wind and road noise. For added peace and quiet, opt for laminated side windows. Of course, suspension also impact ride comfort.

The standard chassis with Frequency Selective Damping technology adapts to road conditions for a more controlled drive. The dampers were precisely tuned on demanding Catalonian rally stages, the rugged German Eifel mountains and Volvo’s own testing grounds in Sweden.

The optional active chassis with rear air suspension gives you an even smoother road feel by adjusting ride height and stiffness. It continuously monitors the car, road and driver, adapting 500 times per second for improved cornering and reduced pitch and roll.

Our blind spot information system (BLIS) provides active support when changing lanes. If there is a risk of collision with other vehicles in the adjacent lane, BLIS can subtly adjust steering, helping keep you, your car and your loved ones where you mean to be.

If you start drifting across the centre line, a collision with an oncoming vehicle is always possible. Your car can detect this and correct the steering, helping you back to a safer position on the road.

Day or night, our intelligent safety assistance technology can help you detect and avoid other vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists and large animals. It does this by warning the driver and automatically braking if the driver fails to react.

Slip in and out of tight parking spots with the help of a 360° camera view. Front, rear and side cameras produce a high-resolution bird's-eye view you can see on your centre display. On-screen graphics show the car's intended path to help you manoeuvre.

The split-screen function means you can also see a nearly 180° front or rear view at the same time.

Cross Traffic Alert with auto brake supports the driver when reversing with a limited view. The system can detect vehicles crossing behind your car, and the auto brake can be applied if needed.

Our safety assistance technology can help when you turn across oncoming traffic. If there’s a risk of collision, the car can automatically brake.
