The 2026 XC40 Special Edition also comes with Volvo’s latest new technology.

Firstly, the new generation user experience (UX) interface. It’s the same tech pioneered for Volvo’s top of the range EX90 to give drivers what they need, when they need it, without distractions.

As such, the home screen has been revised so that all the most commonly used apps and functions are quickly available. In short, everything is just easier to use.

The infotainment is also faster and more powerful thanks to higher-grade ‘Snapdragon’ silicon chipsets via Qualcomm – as used in the latest EX90 and XC90 models.

The XC40 Special Edition is powered by a smooth 2.0 litre turbo charged mild hybrid petrol engine, which delivers both responsiveness and fuel efficiency.

Inside two-zone climate control comes as standard, along with power adjusted driver and passenger seats, in full leather all round, as well as high performance audio.

Externally, there are three new colours to choose from: Forest Lake, Denim Blue and Aurora Silver – as well as Vapour Grey, Sand Dune, Cloud Blue, Crystal White and Onyx Black.

All of which are perfectly accentuated by the 19-inch 5-Y spoke wheels.
