Operating the roof hatch
You can open and close the roof hatch to control how much air or sunlight you let in.
You can operate the roof hatch using the touch-sensitive control in the overhead console.

By touching or swiping over the control in different ways you can:
- open and close the roof hatch
- open the front section of the roof hatch to the vent position.
Note
- Remember to remove ice and snow before opening the roof hatch. Take care not to scratch surfaces or damage trims.
- At very low temperatures, the roof hatch might freeze in place and you won't be able to operate it.
Opening the vent position
- Tap anywhere on the control.The roof hatch opens to the vent position.
Closing the vent position
- From the vent position, tap anywhere on the control.The roof hatch closes.
Opening the roof hatch
- Swipe backwards once over the control.The hatch opens partially.
- Swipe backwards twice over the control.The hatch opens fully.
Closing the roof hatch
- Swipe forwards over the control.The hatch closes.
Note
Sun blind
The roof hatch includes a sun blind that you can open or close manually.
Warning
Always consider the safety risks while operating the roof hatch. The car's moving parts can cause injury to children or other occupants, as well as damage to objects.- Make sure you have a clear view of the roof hatch when operating it.
- Do not allow children to play with the roof hatch controls.
- Never leave children alone in the car.
- Always turn the car off and take the key with you when leaving the car.
- Never put an object or body part through an open window or roof hatch, even if the car's electrical system is fully disconnected.
- Do not open the roof hatch when load carriers are fitted.
- Do not place any heavy objects on the roof hatch.
