Alongside the new Volvo EX60, we also revealed the EX60 Cross Country this week, a more expressive flavour of our new fully electric SUV.

Explore EX60On the same day that we showed our new, all-electric Volvo EX60 SUV to the world, we also provided a first look at the EX60 in another flavour, as we introduced the newest entry in our popular line-up of Cross Country cars.
The EX60 Cross Country provides our customers with all the benefits found in the EX60: class-leading electric range, fast charging, and state-of-the-art technology that makes life easier, safer, better and more enjoyable. Read more about the EX60 here.
With this variant, however, we also bring our Cross Country heritage into a new era of modern, electric Volvo cars. We introduced our first Cross Country model in 1997, and all of them come with a bold, distinctive design, a more robust and expressive look, culminating in a statement of freedom and exploration.
“The EX60 Cross Country is the EX60 for anyone with a ‘go anywhere’ attitude,” says Erik Severinson, our chief commercial officer. “Built to do more and see more, the EX60 Cross Country embodies not only the sense of exploration but also a reflection of achievement. We basically invented this segment and we felt the EX60 was the perfect next Volvo to get the Cross Country treatment.”
It comes with a new colour, called Frost Green, which is exclusive to this car and reflects the inspiration our designers find in Scandinavian nature. The EX60 Cross Country also carries several unique design details that emphasise its special place in our line-up.
The EX60 Cross Country has special wheels that are exclusive to our Cross Country models, as well as clear, well-considered Cross Country branding in the front and rear bumpers as well as on the D-pillar. Skid plates in brushed stainless steel at the front and back emphasise the car’s expressive look, while wider rugged wheel arches further enhance its overall presence.

More than just good looks
However, the EX60 Cross Country is not just about looks. As an SUV, it already provides the higher seating position that is appreciated by our customers worldwide. It gives confidence, a better overview of the road ahead and enhances an overall sense of being in control.
On this car, we crank up those benefits. Compared with the EX60, the Cross Country sits 20 millimetres higher off the ground, which further boosts that visibility and sense of control. With the help of the air suspension, you can add another 20 millimetres of riding height if needed.
The air suspension can also lower the car, which enhances high-speed efficiency, stability and aerodynamics. This is especially helpful if you travel on the highway and want to maximise the range of your battery.
The Volvo EX60 Cross Country is now available for pre-orders in some European markets, with more markets to follow later this year. You can choose between two all-wheel-drive powertrain options: a P10 AWD Electric with up to 640 km of range, which is the first variant to become available, followed shortly after by a P12 AWD Electric with longer range.
