Volvo is committed to providing products and service of the highest standard. However, if something should happen after the expiry of your car's warranty, the goodwill support program can provide financial assistance for repairs outside the standard warranty period.
Factors taken into consideration for goodwill
Your authorised Volvo retailer will discuss your eligibility for goodwill support with you, and the following factors are taken into consideration:
- Age of your car
- Current mileage
- Service history
- Nature of the repair needed
- Whether the issue would have been covered under the original warranty.
Important
Any goodwill contributions must be assessed by an authorised Volvo retailer. Any repairs or diagnostics carried out by non-Volvo retailers or workshops cannot be considered for goodwill support.
Note
Keep all documentation related to your car's service history and any communication with your retailer regarding any repairs.
How to start the process
- Contact your local Volvo approved retailer to inspect your car as soon as possible once an issue has presented.
- The Volvo retailer will diagnose the issue and determine if goodwill is applicable.
- If appropriate, your Volvo retailer will submit a goodwill request on your behalf.
- Your retailer will advise you of the outcome of the request.
Note
If you disagree with the outcome, discuss your concerns with your Volvo retailer. If you remain unhappy after discussions with your Volvo retailer, then you may wish to contact Volvo support.
