Changing ownership of the vehicle
The vehicle driver must be registered with Volvo to use all available functions and services. Therefore, when there is a change of ownership, the current owner needs to be removed to give the new owner access.
To change ownership of the vehicle, the current owner needs to remove the link between the Volvo Cars app and the vehicle. The new owner then needs to link their Volvo Cars app to the vehicle before using it.
