Calling Volvo Assistance for roadside assistance
You can contact Volvo Assistance via the center display for roadside assistance[1]. For example, if you experience any unpredictable problems on the road, such as if your vehicle's battery runs out of charge, your vehicle breaks down or you get a flat tire.
Note
Not for emergencies
If you need assistance in an emergency situation, press the SOS button in the overhead console instead. Situations that could require immediate emergency assistance include traffic accidents, acute illness and external threats.
Using Volvo Assistance abroad
If you contact Volvo Assistance when you are abroad, you will reach Volvo Assistance in your home country.

- Press the vehicle symbol
in the bottom bar and go to Assistance. - Follow the instructions in the center display.
The vehicle makes a voice call to Volvo Assistance. It also sends information, such as its location and status.
The Volvo Assistance call center will try to communicate with you to find out what kind of help you need.
If the voice call fails, the Volvo Assistance call center has the ability to respond based on information sent by the vehicle.
